Ghosts of Salem

On Halloween 2008, Gavin Cromwell and I investigated at the Salem Witch House with the production crew from the TV show, Hollywood New England.

The energy at the Salem Witch House took me by surprise.

On the first floor, we detected some strong male energy.  It was centered around a chair in one corner.   The energy seemed hostile towards me.  Only Gavin seemed to be able to connect with it.

Since then, I have reason to believe that the energy may have originated with Gavin.  That’s worth re-investigating.

We both sensed the arrival of three other men who were there to discuss business with the angry man.  One of them didn’t remove his hat.  I thought that was odd… didn’t men always remove their hats out of respect when entering someone’s home?

On the second floor, we detected a couple of residual energy hauntings.  One might be active, but I think they’re both simply energy.

One was a young woman who collapsed on the floor.  I think that she was concealing a pregnancy.  She may have been a servant.

The other was a different female energy, and I was able to pick up a name with it.  For me, that’s unusual; I hardly ever detect names.

I’ll be conducting research to learn more about these hauntings.

Salem Witch House seems to have one ghost and two or more areas of residual energy.  It’s an interesting haunting, but — except for the bluster and power of the male energy — it’s not a very haunted site.

Nevertheless, odd stories of paranormal events are associated with this location.  If you’re interested in Salem’s ghosts, this site is worth visiting for historical and paranormal reasons.
